Heidi Klum turned heads at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony when she flaunted a pink floral gown with a massive train – a choice that was in clear violation of the festival’s newly updated dress code. Wan QianHui also made a statement in a cream tulle ball gown with extravagant ruffled layers and a massive train, further emphasising the defiance of the updated dress code at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Halle Berry, a jury member at Cannes this year, revealed that the stringent dress code led her to make a last-minute alteration to her outfit in compliance with the regulations. Berry respected the rules, acknowledging that they contribute to maintaining the integrity of the event. The festival’s instructions underline the importance of adhering to the guidelines to uphold the formal standards of the prestigious occasion.
