Logan Paul, the well-known professional wrestler and social media influencer, recently opened up about the profound impact fatherhood has had on his life. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the New York City red carpet premiere of his Max Original reality series, “Paul American,” Paul shared how welcoming his 6-month-old daughter, Esmé Agdal Paul, with fiancée Nina Agdal, has transformed him.
The 26-year-old star revealed that becoming a father to little Esmé has shifted his priorities and made him more selfless. He humbly expressed, “I’m no longer my first priority. It’s made me less selfish. Prior to Nina, I was No. 1 in my life. Now with Esmé, my daughter, I’ve dropped two rungs down the priority ladder. It’s Esmé, Nina, then me.” Paul added, “So for the first time in my life, I’m not my first concern. I would die for these women.”
Nina Agdal, who also shared her thoughts with PEOPLE at the event, highlighted a different side of Paul that the public may not often see in his online persona. She described him as calm, mature, sweet, and essentially the opposite of the character he portrays in his videos. Agdal emphasised the importance of balance between Paul’s entertaining image and his true personality off-screen.
Paul and Agdal got engaged in July 2023 in Lake Como, Italy, and shortly after, they happily revealed they were expecting their first child together. Reflecting on the proposal, Agdal disclosed that while she had a hunch about the engagement, she was surprised by the presence of her parents during the special moment.
Looking ahead, the couple shared that due to their busy schedules, they are planning to tie the knot in the upcoming summer. Meanwhile, their new reality series, “Paul American,” is set to debut on Max, offering viewers an inside look into the lives of Logan and his brother, Jake Paul.
