Two teachers at a school in Georgia find themselves facing serious charges related to sexual misconduct involving the same alleged victim. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has recently announced the arrest of Sherri Delle Mauldin, aged 60, on charges that include improper sexual contact by an employee, agent, or foster parent, aggravated child molestation, and statutory rape. These offences are alleged to have been committed while Mauldin was a teacher at Nathaniel Greene Academy, a Christian, K-12 college preparatory school situated in Siloam, approximately 80 miles east of Atlanta.

This arrest comes shortly after another former teacher at the same institution, Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, aged 25, was also arrested and charged with improper sexual contact, reportedly involving the same student. The GBI confirmed that an investigation into Brown in June 2024 had revealed her engaging in sexual contact with a student during her time as a teacher. At the time of the incidents, Brown was reportedly teaching at a preschool, as per the alleged victim’s lawyer, Ashley Mitchell.

The alleged victim, a male under the age of 16 at the time of the offences, revealed that there was physical contact both at the school premises and outside of it. In response to these disturbing events, the victim expressed relief that the two women have been arrested and that the crimes are under thorough investigation.
