In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Alison Victoria, known for her role in the reality series ‘Sin City Rehab’, shared insights into her relationship with filmmaker Brandt Andersen and discussed the upcoming season of her show. The couple, who went public with their romance in June 2024 after meeting at a wellness retreat, appear to be thriving in their partnership.

Victoria, who is 44 years old, opened up about her past relationships, stating that they instilled a sense of internal conflict about marriage. Reflecting on her previous experiences, she remarked, “In my past, I felt pressure with marriage always looming, which caused conflict between me and my partner.” This has led her to take a more relaxed approach to her current relationship. “At this moment, I don’t feel the need for anything other than a good partner. Just being happy with being happy is what matters,” she added.

The couple’s affection for one another has been visible in public appearances and social media posts. In April, a selfie posted by Victoria, showcasing a ring on her ring finger, sparked engagement speculations. However, a source later confirmed that the pair were not engaged, stating, “Alison and Brandt are still happily in love and enjoying their partnership.”
Victoria credited the wellness retreat where she met Andersen for helping her embrace the possibility of genuine love again. She described attending the programme as one of the best decisions she has ever made. “It opened me up to meeting my true love,” she claimed, highlighting the transformative impact it had on her outlook on relationships.
The designer noted that Andersen has become more than just a boyfriend; he is her “partner” in every sense of the word. This term has significant meaning for Victoria, who admitted she never used to refer to anyone as her partner in past relationships. She praised Andersen for his unwavering support during challenging times, particularly during her tough renovation projects. “He took control when I felt overwhelmed, offering to handle communications with the contractors,” she shared. “I’ve never had anyone do that for me before.”
Victoria expressed that these real-life dynamics will be showcased in the new season of ‘Sin City Rehab’. “Audiences will see the support Brandt provided during a particularly challenging time in my life,” she revealed. She elaborated, saying, “There was a moment when I felt like I was living in a ‘Twilight Zone’ because of the complications we faced.”
Describing Andersen as her best friend, she remarked that she now truly understands the sentiment often expressed about being married to one’s best friend. “I used to hear that and think it was just a cliché, but now I get it. I couldn’t be happier,” Victoria said, noting how they consistently celebrate each other in their relationship.
The couple also makes it a priority to spend quality time together, as seen during their recent celebration of Andersen’s birthday with a trip to Santa Barbara. Victoria hinted at a surprise planned for her upcoming birthday on October 31, stating that Andersen has given her mysterious instructions about what to pack, which has her excited.
Reflecting on sharing their relationship on the show, Victoria mentioned her initial hesitations about exposing such a personal aspect of her life. Eventually, she realised that it was an essential part of her story and therefore worth sharing. “I’ve been protective of my relationship, but it feels good to let people see the reality of our lives together,” she stated.
‘Sin City Rehab’ is set to air on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV, with episodes available for streaming on HBO Max the following day. As the new season unfolds, fans can expect a deeper look into Victoria’s life, including the supportive and loving presence of her partner, Brandt Andersen.
