The Blink-182 drummer, now 50, reminisced about his early interactions with Kourtney’s family. He initially became acquainted with her sister, Kim Kardashian, back in the early 2000s when she worked for his then-girlfriend, Paris Hilton. Following Barker’s rising career, he bonded with the Kardashian family after relocating to Calabasas, California, where they quickly became friends.
Barker explained that despite their contrasting lifestyles—he is heavily tattooed and rock-oriented while Kourtney embodies a more conventional family image—their differences allowed him to feel at ease in her company. He remarked, “I think that’s why I felt so comfortable being Kourtney’s friend because we were such opposites. I could appreciate her as a cute, attractive person and a great mum because we didn’t have many similarities.”

This was soon followed by a legally recognised marriage in Santa Barbara a month later. Their grand wedding took place on 22nd May 2022 in Italy, attended by their closest family and friends, including Kourtney’s three children—Mason, 16, Reign, 11, and Penelope, 14—and Travis’s son Landon, 23, daughter Alabama, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana, 27.
Their life together took a delightful turn in November 2023 when they welcomed their first child, a son named Rocky Thirteen Barker. This development further solidifies their bond as they navigate parenthood together.
