A man in Arizona has been arrested on two counts of second-degree murder following the tragic death of his pregnant wife, Noelle Clark. The incident is reported to have occurred at their residence in Vail on Friday, October 9. Authorities allege that Joseph Clark killed his wife in a children’s bedroom before subsequently running her over with a vehicle.

The situation unfolded when Joseph Clark contacted law enforcement to report the incident. According to a criminal complaint filed by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrived at the scene and found Noelle deceased in the garage, partially covered by a blanket and showing “obvious signs of trauma to her head.”

Upon their arrival, deputies ordered Clark out of the house, leading to his subsequent arrest. During the initial investigations, it emerged that two young children were inside the home at the time, but they were unharmed. Noelle, aged 39, was believed to be in her second or third trimester of pregnancy.

Evidence collected at the scene suggested a violent confrontation had taken place. Investigators recovered a bloody kitchen knife from the children’s room, accompanied by a pool of blood and splatters on a wall. Disturbingly, drag marks were found leading from the bedroom to the garage where Noelle’s body was located.
Clark’s brother provided further context to the investigation, revealing that Joseph had sent a text message asking if he could visit. This request was noted as unusual, since Clark usually did not extend such invitations. Concerned after receiving no response to his calls, the brother decided to visit the Clark home, only to be met by several police vehicles upon arrival.
The complaint also includes details of Noelle’s injuries. Authorities noted that she exhibited tire marks on her arms, and bloody marks were found in the couple’s garage, indicating she had been run over. Additionally, a deep cut was discovered on her inner left breast, and two marks on her back appeared to correspond with a belt located in the children’s room.
Investigators suspect that Joseph Clark may have been attempting to dispose of Noelle’s body following the incident. Disturbingly, he reportedly claimed to investigators that he had been “electrically tortured” and expressed bizarre assertions about his physical state, stating that his eyes had been cracked and his teeth dislodged from being “zapped.” However, investigators found no visible injuries on his body that supported these claims.
Joseph Clark, 49, now faces serious charges, and his bail has been set at an extraordinary £1 million. Authorities are still investigating the case to uncover more details surrounding the circumstances of Noelle’s death.
