Alex Fine, well-known for his performance in *American Primeval*, is opening up about his balancing act as a family man and an actor. In a recent interview with Capital XTRA, the 33-year-old discussed his role in the upcoming series *MobLand* and the essential support he receives from his wife, singer Cassie Ventura.

The couple, who live in London, share three children: daughters Sunny, aged three, and Frankie, five, along with a son born in May 2025, whose name has not yet been publicly disclosed. Fine described how Cassie’s encouragement played a significant role in his decision to take part in this particular project. Their shared enthusiasm for the series—especially after watching its first season—made it an attractive opportunity.
“The support from Cassie is incredible,” he said. “She understood that this is a very special project.” The fact that shooting is based in London, a significant factor in their lives, meant the logistics of balancing work and family became far more manageable.
Fine reflected on his previous work situation, which involved extended periods in New Mexico. “Before this, I was away for a year due to a SAG strike,” he explained. “Getting that call about *MobLand* was a highlight when I heard it involved talents like Guy Ritchie, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. The choice was a no-brainer.” Fortunately, Cassie and their children can easily visit him on set during filming.
The actor has made a point to include his children in his work life, often bringing them along to experience the set. “I take them to every set to see what I’m doing,” Fine shared. Despite the star-studded atmosphere surrounding them, his daughters remain primarily unimpressed, as they express a preference for a *Bluey* movie instead. “They don’t think it’s that cool yet, but I’m sure they will soon,” he added with a laugh.
The youngest Fine daughters have taken a keen interest in the makeup trailer on set. “It’s been fun introducing them to special effects makeup and everything that goes into filmmaking,” he noted. He recounted a light-hearted exchange with an acquaintance who questioned his work after hearing from one of his daughters that their father puts on makeup every day. “I joked that she was ‘technically’ right,” he quipped.
Cassie has also taken to social media to celebrate significant moments in their lives, sharing personal insights about their family on her Instagram account. In March, she posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to Fine, featuring a black-and-white image of the pair with their new son, whose face was playfully obscured by a heart emoji. The caption expressed her affection: “I love you, Best Friend. Happy Birthday.”
As Fine continues to navigate his roles both on screen and as a father, he values the dedication his wife shows to their family. The couple’s supportive dynamic plays a vital role as they guide their children through their early years, navigating the challenges and joys of parenthood while both pursuing their respective careers.
With shooting for *MobLand* underway, and the Fine family growing, the actor is not just focused on acting, but also on creating lasting memories with his loved ones. The excitement of his new project mixes seamlessly with the warmth of family life as they embark on new adventures together.
