Aaron Paul, the acclaimed actor best known for his role in the television series *Breaking Bad*, has recently sold his historic property in Los Angeles for £7.5 million. The estate, known as the Seyler House, was originally listed for £8.1 million in July 2025, but the sale marks a significant reduction from its initial asking price.

Nestled on 1.5 acres in the picturesque Los Feliz neighbourhood, just below Griffith Park, the Seyler House was constructed in 1922 by renowned architect Stiles O. Clemens. His notable work includes the design of the El Capitan Theatre, and the estate itself has been a cornerstone of architectural beauty in the area. Over the years, the home has been owned by a variety of notable figures, such as actors Tim Curry, Noah Wyle, Jim Parsons, and vampire film star Robert Pattinson.
In a recent interview with *Travel + Leisure*, Paul revealed that he and his wife, Lauren, along with their two children, had relocated to Paris nearly a year after listing the house. This decision followed the devastating Southern California wildfires that occurred in January 2025. “We have always dreamt of doing a year abroad. Specifically in Paris. Love the food, the history, the people,” Paul shared. The actor expressed a desire for his children to immerse themselves in a new culture and learn another language, a significant priority for his family.
In addition to his move to Europe, Paul has embarked on a new venture involving an Italian farm located approximately 90 minutes from Milan. The farm is dedicated to the sustainable production of artisanal caviar for a brand called The Only Caviar. With his wife and children holding Italian citizenship and his in-laws planning to purchase a property in Lucca, the actor jested about the possibility of transitioning to life in Italy. “We’re hoping to ride their coattails to Italy,” he remarked.
The Seyler House has been a sanctuary for the Paul family, who have cherished their time there. “This home has been a safe haven for my family, and we feel so lucky to have experienced so much life here,” he stated in a message shared with *People* at the time of the sale. Paul expressed a deep appreciation for the home and its rich history, noting it would always hold a special place in their hearts.
The exterior of the property boasts a stunning Spanish Colonial design, complete with breathtaking views of the downtown Los Angeles skyline. Within the estate, residents can enjoy a variety of outdoor features including a freeform swimming pool, expansive lawns, fire pits, a koi pond, a cold plunge spa, and even a natural amphitheatre for gatherings.
Real estate agent Ben Belack of Serhant handled the sale and reflected on the experience of marketing the unique property. “Of course, selling houses is my livelihood, but closing this property was bittersweet,” he remarked. Belack praised the home for its “palpable and restorative energy,” adding that he would miss the atmosphere it exuded. He expressed hope that the new owners would welcome him to visit the estate in the future.
Aaron Paul’s departure from Los Angeles marks the end of a significant chapter in his life. After more than a decade of ownership, the sale of the Seyler House signifies not just a relocation for the actor and his family, but also a transition into a new cultural experience in Europe. As they settle into their new life in Paris, fans and followers of the star continue to stay updated on his future projects and further adventures.
