Diane Keaton’s former residence in Laguna Beach, California, has emerged on the market for £10.3 million, nearly one year following her death in October 2025. The property, which Keaton hailed as her “last renovation project,” offers a glimpse into the star’s unique design aesthetic, which prominently features her signature black-and-white motifs.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is presently listed by Luxre Realty agents Brooke Wainwright and David Koffs. Wainwright indicated that the current owners, who acquired the property from Keaton a few years ago, have preserved much of her original design work. The decision to sell has arisen from their need for a larger living space, as their family continues to expand.
Emphasising her passion for home renovation, Keaton imbued the property with architectural elements that resonate with her renowned “Pinterest House” in Los Angeles, which garnered significant attention after undergoing exhaustive renovations. This latest listing underscores her legacy as both an actress and a design enthusiast.

Property records indicate that the home, spanning nearly 2,700 square feet with views of the serene Pacific Ocean, last sold for £8 million in August 2022. Prior to that, it was purchased for £6.6 million in October 2021. An appealing feature of the residence is its modern kitchen, complete with a central island showcasing waterfall countertops and barstool seating. This area seamlessly transitions into a dining space surrounded by glass, perfectly framing the ocean vistas.

Stepping into the living room reveals a cosy fireplace and direct access to one of the multiple outdoor decks, ideal for entertaining or simply enjoying the coastal climate. The primary bedroom is another highlight, boasting its own fireplace and a generously sized terrace that overlooks the water, further enhancing the property’s appeal.
Outdoor amenities extend to a well-equipped entertainer’s area, featuring multiple seating zones and an outdoor kitchen fitted with a barbecue. It is clear that Keaton’s influence is present throughout the home, where each design choice reflects her distinct style and attention to detail.
This new listing follows the recent sale of Keaton’s much-admired “Pinterest House,” which was sold for £18 million in August of this year. Initially offered at £27 million in December 2025 shortly after her passing, the property underwent several price adjustments before finally selling for its last recorded price.
The extensive renovations of the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom property in Sullivan Canyon took Keaton eight years to complete. In a 2017 interview with Wine Spectator, she referred to it as her “dream home.” Keaton further captured her design journey in her 2017 book, *The House That Pinterest Built*, which recounts how her inspiration stemmed from the children’s fable, “The Three Little Pigs.”
As prospective buyers eye this Laguna Beach gem, it serves as more than just a luxury property; it stands as a testament to Keaton’s legacy in the realms of both cinema and design. The beautifully preserved elements ensure that her artistic vision lives on, while the home itself continues to attract interest amidst California’s competitive real estate landscape.
