In an extraordinary achievement, Max Alexander, a ten-year-old fashion sensation, has added two more Guinness World Records to his name, further solidifying his status as a rising star in the fashion industry. Known for his remarkable talent and innovative designs, Max launched his debut fabric collection last month in partnership with Mood Fabrics, showcasing his passion for both fashion and sustainability.
The event, which took place on September 14, marked the unveiling of Max’s original collection, featuring 15 eco-conscious fabrics sourced from sustainable materials, including BCI Cotton, European Flax linen, EcoVero viscose, and recycled polyester faux fur. Speaking about the essence of his collection, Max emphasised the power of individual choices, stating, “At the core of this collection is the idea that one small choice can make a big difference. Sustainability doesn’t have to mean being perfect. It can be about the tiny choices we make every day and changing little habits that add up to something much bigger.”

During the launch event, Max not only displayed his colourful designs but also demonstrated his formidable draping techniques, inspiring attendees with his youthful creativity and passion for the art of fashion. However, the highlight of the evening was the unexpected arrival of a Guinness World Records adjudicator who witnessed Max achieve another remarkable feat.

Previously recognised for his world record as the youngest individual to conduct a runway show at just seven years old, Max attempted to set a new record for the fastest time to thread an automatic sewing machine. To the delight of his fans and the audience, he successfully completed the task in an astonishing 10.16 seconds, adding yet another title to his growing list of accolades.
Michael Empric, the Guinness World Records adjudicator present at the event, praised Max’s unique personality and talent. “Max is absolutely one of a kind, and his energy, talent, and personality were incredible,” Empric remarked, adding, “At times I felt like I was doing an improv comedy routine… which made for a really unique experience!”
Max’s foray into fashion began at the tender age of four, and he has consistently pushed boundaries. Earlier this year, he made headlines as the youngest designer to showcase a collection at Paris Fashion Week, where he unveiled a Women’s Ready to Wear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 line. His collection predominantly utilised sustainable materials and drew inspiration from the beauty of flowers, incorporating deadstock, surplus, and biodegradable fabrics.
Reflecting on his journey, Max expressed joy in being able to share his designs with the world. “I am happy I got to show the world my designs,” he stated. “And maybe encourage people to think about reuse and not buying so much fast fashion.”
The newly launched Mood × Max Alexander Collection is now available online, with the fabrics expected to reach Mood Fabrics stores across the UK. With his eye-catching designs and commitment to sustainability, Max is not only making headlines but also paving the way for new conversations about eco-friendly practices in the fashion industry.
Max’s achievements are a testament to his dedication and creativity in a field often dominated by adults. As he continues to make his mark, the fashion world watches closely, eagerly anticipating the next steps in his burgeoning career.
As Max Alexander breaks through barriers and sets new standards for young designers, he serves as an inspiration for aspiring fashion enthusiasts everywhere, illustrating that age is merely a number when it comes to talent and innovation.
