Andy Cohen and Kevin Sobieski have officially stepped into the limelight as a couple, having initially met at a Fourth of July gathering in the Hamptons in 2025. The pair have been dating since then, but they chose to keep their relationship private for about a year before making it public at a SiriusXM concert earlier this month.

Cohen, known for his role as host of “Watch What Happens Live,” recently shared his thoughts on the experience of revealing his relationship with Sobieski, a businessman aged 42. In an interview with PEOPLE at the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame Awards, Cohen expressed mixed feelings about moving their romance into the public eye. “It’s a little scary,” he noted, reflecting on the couple’s preference for privacy during their initial months together. However, Cohen was equally enthusiastic, stating, “But, I mean, it’s exciting. He’s great,” before receiving his induction into the Hall of Fame.
The couple sparked dating rumours earlier this year after they were spotted leaving a dinner in New York City on June 2. Their first official appearance together was at a concert in the Hamptons, where they were seen smiling and embracing each other in front of the cameras.
During an episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” in June, the television personality described Sobieski as “the one,” emphasising the importance of finding a suitable partner. “People have asked me for a long time, ‘When are you gonna get a boyfriend? Why don’t you have a boyfriend?’” he recalled. “I have always said, ‘I will know when I meet the person.’ I value my time too much and I have great friends and a great life and great kids.”
Cohen’s genuine affection for Sobieski is evident. He noted that Sobieski is not only kind and intelligent but also has a deep connection with his two children, Ben and Lucy. Despite being “methodical” in introducing Sobieski to his family, Cohen remarked that his children have taken to him with ease. “I love him,” Cohen stated, adding that the relationship has been remarkably harmonious so far. “In eleven months, we’ve not had one fight. We haven’t had a disagreement.”
The duo seems to share a strong bond, as Cohen further explained how aligned their views on life are. “We just view life the same way,” he mentioned. Cohen also took a moment to reflect positively on their journey together, saying, “I still can’t believe I found him.”
A source close to the couple previously told PEOPLE that Cohen and Sobieski have fallen deeply in love and envision a shared future. “Kevin is great with Andy’s kids,” the insider said, further noting their shared enjoyment of hosting dinner parties and mingling with each other’s friends, indicating a healthy integration of their lives.
