Jinger Duggar Vuolo, a former star of the reality show *Counting On*, has shared insights about her wedding to Jeremy Vuolo, held on 5 November 2016. In a recent episode of the podcast *Call Your Sister*, co-hosted with her sister Joy-Anna Duggar, Jinger discussed her feelings surrounding the event and revealed one regret that has lingered since that day.

The couple’s wedding, attended by close family and friends, was officiated by Jeremy’s father, Chuck Vuolo, with his brother Charles serving as best man. The occasion marked a significant moment in the lives of both Jinger and Jeremy, who have since welcomed three children together.
Reflecting on the day, Jinger candidly expressed a sense of frustration regarding the timing of their ceremony. “The main thing that I was thinking about, though, was a wedding detail where we felt horrible about,” she disclosed. She noted that both she and Jeremy felt the weight of this issue, which revolved around the start time of their wedding.
Jinger elaborated that they opted for their ‘first look’ moment during her walk down the aisle, a detail she remains pleased with. However, she wished they had opted for an earlier start to the ceremony. “We had a delay before the wedding began due to security arrangements at the venue,” she explained. This unforeseen wait pushed the ceremony back by an hour, impacting the time allocated for their photographs.
As guests arrived, they had to check in to ensure they were on the list, leading to a further postponement. “So we lost an hour that was meant for our wedding photos at the golden hour,” Jinger lamented. The golden hour—a photographer’s dream—typically allows for stunning captures as the sun sets.
The repercussions of this delay became evident when Jinger and Jeremy finally made it to their reception. “By the time we made it to our reception, it felt like we had only twenty or thirty minutes before we had to leave for our exit,” she recalled. This rushed timeframe meant that they could only greet a handful of guests, including some of Jeremy’s friends who had travelled from across the country.
In hindsight, Jinger identified the situation as a result of what she termed “bad planning.” She emphasised that they had both missed the opportunity to properly acknowledge their guests and enjoy the celebration. “It was really chaotic,” she added, reflecting on how they had to exit the event in a rushed manner without fully soaking in the day.
At the time of their nuptials, Jinger wore a stunning, hand-beaded lace gown with an impressive 13-foot train, walking down the aisle with her father, Jim Bob Duggar. Jeremy described the wedding as “a dream come true” in an interview shortly after the ceremony.
As the couple celebrates nearly seven years of marriage, Jinger’s reflections serve as a reminder that even amid joyous occasions, setbacks can occur. Nevertheless, she appears to have embraced these experiences, carving out a fulfilling life with her husband and children. Their journey continues to unfold, both in the public eye and behind closed doors, as they navigate the challenges and joys of family life together.
In sharing her thoughts, Jinger hopes to not only relive her memories but also provide insights for others planning their weddings, highlighting the importance of preparation and timing in creating an everlasting celebration.
