In a recent episode of his podcast “Wildmen,” Sprouse, now aged 34, expressed his joy and surprise at the profound experience of fatherhood. Speaking candidly about the initial days of being a new parent, he shared his delight at watching Sylvie’s tiny expressions as she learns and engages with the world around her. “There’s a moment when I look at Sylvie, and I’m like, ‘This is the coolest thing ever,’” he said. “She’s looking at me, and her eyes are opening… it’s the cutest thing.”

He mentioned how their routine now includes watching games, noting, “I can almost see her recognise it’s time to sit on the nursing chair with me.”
The actor has also begun to notice little traits in Sylvie that he believes reflect some of his own characteristics. He commented on her tendency to stretch, suggesting she might inherit a laid-back nature like his own. “I’m calling it now, I think she might be a little lazy like me. I think she’s a lazybones,” he joked, making light of the typical behaviour observed in infants.
