Man and Fiancée Die After Amtrak Train Strikes Vehicle on Tracks and Their Car Gets ‘Completely Cut in Half’

The victims have been identified as James Cobb, aged 41, and his fiancée, Suzanne Wages, who was 44 years old. The collision took place at approximately 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of Bellingrath Road and Peary Road in Theodore, as confirmed by the Mobile Police Department.

The vehicle was completely cut in half by the train.” He advised the public against trying to outpace an oncoming train, highlighting that the crossing gates exist to protect lives.
