“Dynasty” Star Adam Huber and Wife Rachel Expecting First Baby Together: ‘Beyond Excited’ (Exclusive)

In an endearing announcement, actor Adam Huber and beauty influencer Rachel Huber have revealed that they are expecting their first child, with a due date set for 9th March. The couple, who first met on Instagram, tied the knot last September in Croatia, and this exciting news comes nearly a year after their wedding.

Sharing the delightful news exclusively with PEOPLE, Rachel, aged 25, recounted the moment of discovery while on a flight back home after visiting her family in Kansas City. She stumbled upon a pregnancy test she had packed, and on a whim, decided to take it during the journey. “I literally just thought it would be funny to take a pregnancy test on an airplane,” she stated. To her surprise, the test indicated she was expecting.

“The two lines showed up almost immediately,” Rachel continued, detailing how she struggled to keep her excitement to herself during the flight. Her anticipation soon got the better of her, and within 20 minutes, she confided in Adam. “I was so nervous about telling my friends and family, my hands would shake every time I shared the news,” she admitted.

Rachel disclosed that her parents were over the moon about the impending arrival. “My mom just kept repeating ‘OMG’ over and over,” Rachel recalled, adding that this will be their first grandchild, leading to an ecstatic reaction.

While the couple is aware of the baby’s sex—having found out through SneakPeek at six weeks and later confirmed by noninvasive prenatal testing—they plan to keep that information to themselves until their little one arrives. “We picked out two baby outfits—one for a boy and one for a girl—and had the cashier wrap up the correct one without telling us,” Rachel shared. The moment they unveiled the results together was described as “such a sweet way to find out.”

As for her experience during pregnancy so far, Rachel expressed her relief at being largely free of morning sickness. However, she noted the overwhelming fatigue that has set in. “I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my life,” she said, adding that her biggest cravings have included sour candy, a variety of fruit, and a unique combination of peanut butter and jelly grilled cheese sandwiches—an idea she credits to a TikTok influencer.

Initially shocked by the news, Rachel has since come to embrace the idea of parenthood. “It definitely happened a lot sooner than we anticipated, so there was a lot of shock at first,” she said. But now, both she and Adam are eager for this new chapter in their lives, especially as they navigate other significant changes concurrently. They have recently sold their house in Atlanta and relocated closer to Rachel’s parents in Kansas City.

Looking ahead, the couple is already dreaming about their family adventures. “We’ve already started planning Baby Huber’s first European vacation next summer or fall,” Rachel exclaimed, underscoring their excitement to include their child in future experiences. The journey into parenthood is positioned to be filled with joy, surprises, and new achievements for the Hubers as they anticipate the arrival of their little one.
