I think they did a great job… I saw the completed film before any of that happened, or I knew it was happening, so I was proud of the film! And I still am. The legal saga began in December 2024, when Blake Lively filed a sexual harassment complaint against Justin Baldoni, alleging misconduct during filming. As the legal proceedings advanced, Lively’s claims were reduced substantially, focusing primarily on allegations related to retaliation. A settlement was eventually reached on 4th May, with joints attorneys confirming the agreement, bringing a degree of closure to the tumultuous affair.
In a recent ruling, a judge approved a portion of Lively’s request for over £8 million in legal fees, ordering Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, to disburse just over £400,000 to cover litigation costs.
