A tragic road incident unfolded on the morning of Sunday, September 20th, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist and leaving another in a critical condition. The accident occurred on The Bucketts Way, close to Gunns Gully Road in Booral, New South Wales, approximately 19 miles northwest of Nelsons Bay.

At around 10:20 AM local time, emergency services responded to reports of a serious crash. On arrival, officers from the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District discovered that a utility vehicle towing a horse float had flipped over and rolled, colliding with two motorcycles on the road.

While she was assessed by ambulance paramedics at the scene, she did not require further medical treatment.
Remarkably, the horse that was being transported in the horse float during the mishap did not sustain any injuries. However, the vehicle’s collision with the motorcycles has raised serious concerns about road safety, prompting the establishment of a crime scene by the police.
