Unlike many couples who invest over a year in wedding preparations, Wang and Yankowitz condensed their planning timeline to just six months. While the couple was excited to tie the knot, Wang expressed a desire to avoid allowing the wedding process to overshadow their daily lives. “I would rather be really stressed and busy planning everything within six months than have it linger on for over a year,” she explained.
The intense timeframe undoubtedly added to the stress, as decisions had to be made swiftly. Wang noted that the compressed schedule, while challenging, provided a necessary structure to the planning process. “Without a hard deadline, it’s easy to lose your way and let the details drag on indefinitely,” she said.

Wang stated, “This is definitely the most intimate and authentic project I have ever done… We found a way to show everything in a very honest and truthful way while maintaining our morals and integrity.”
To bring their vision to life, the couple assembled a talented team, including Emmy-nominated producer Gennifer Gardiner. The last episode of *Dorothy’s “I Do”* will be released on their first wedding anniversary, 11th October, making it a poignant celebration of their journey together.
