Bridal fashion designer Hayley Paige has officially tied the knot with Conrad Louis Clevlen, marking the culmination of a seven-year engagement. The couple’s wedding took place over a festive three-day celebration at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California, and it proved to be a spectacular showcase of Paige’s design talent, featuring an astonishing total of eleven custom gowns she created for the occasion.

Paige and Clevlen commenced their festivities with a welcome party on Friday, September 4, followed by the main wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, September 5, and finished with a farewell brunch on Sunday. Reflecting on the experience, Paige expressed her delight, saying, “The designer in me had an absolute field day. The bride in me was thankfully willing to go along for the ride.”

In a remarkable display of creativity, Paige designed 17 gowns specifically for the event, ultimately wearing eleven, and she noted that the quick changes between outfits went more smoothly than expected. With each ensemble tailored to evoke different emotions throughout the weekend, she approached her wardrobe the same way she would a bridal collection. “I wanted everything beautiful to mean something,” she remarked, adding that her attire would also carry a sense of humour.
The bridal party was star-studded, welcoming around 150 guests, including notable figures such as reality star Tyler Cameron and his fiancé Tate Madden, alongside other celebrity couples. The couple’s close friend James Hnat officiated the ceremony, adding to the intimate nature of the occasion.
As part of the ceremony, Paige made a captivating entrance described as a “glimmer,” where Clevlen got a fleeting glimpse of her before she disappeared momentarily. This spectacle was accompanied by Danny Elfman’s score from *Edward Scissorhands*, adding a whimsical touch before she appeared fully dressed for the ceremony.
The bride walked down the aisle to the moving instrumental piece “Sand Drawing” by Judah Earl, while her groom opted for the classic “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison. Following the exchange of heartfelt handwritten vows—without notes—outside St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, the couple shared a kiss, showered with pink petal confetti that matched Paige’s ensemble.
An elaborate reception followed inside the Spanish Art Gallery of the hotel, which was beautifully designed with rich colours and ambient candlelight to represent an “Old World California meets Mission Revival” theme. Paige wanted the space to feel authentic rather than overly designed, reflecting a deep appreciation for the venue’s inherent history. “It has this wonderfully romantic, Old World California feeling,” she stated, emphasising the magical atmosphere they aimed to create.
Culinary choices for the evening included a classic seated dinner featuring filet mignon, which Paige described as celebratory and substantial. Guests also had the option of pairing their meal with a custom wine vintage, a Bordeaux blend produced after the couple’s lengthy seven-year engagement, fittingly labelled “Seven Years Later.”
The night continued with the couple sharing their first dance to Labi Siffre’s “Bless the Telephone,” a sentimental choice that resonated with the depth of their connection. Paige commented on the beauty of being present with loved ones, having waited a considerable time for this moment, reflecting a spirit of gratitude even amid the stresses of wedding planning.
The journey to their wedding day began with a chance meeting in New York City. They became engaged on July 26, 2019, during a trip to Saint John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Excitement for their future together brims as they look ahead to their honeymoon plans on the island where they became engaged.
Paige appreciates that their partnership extends beyond love to business, as Clevlen manages the operations for her eponymous brand. She sees this collaboration as a cornerstone of their relationship and an integral part of their marriage. “To me, marriage is a dedication to a shared life,” she mused, highlighting the commitment each makes to the other as they navigate the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life together.
Through her uniquely designed garments and personally curated wedding elements, Hayley Paige’s wedding not only celebrated love but also exemplified her artistry, leaving a lasting impression on her guests and creating a memorable chapter in the lives of this new couple.
