Fire Chief Jeff Isaacs from the Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District confirmed that paramedics responded to the scene, although he did not disclose further details surrounding the incident. Saint Mary’s College shared the news on social media, expressing profound sorrow and sending heartfelt condolences to Peterson’s family and friends. “This is heartbreaking for our community… Dominic’s smile was contagious and one that would brighten a room when he entered,” the college stated in their tribute.
