When asked about his political aspirations, Hunter initially redirected attention to notable governors in the Democratic Party, naming individuals such as Andy Beshear from Kentucky, J.B. Pritzker from Illinois, Gavin Newsom of California, Pennsylvania’s Josh Shapiro, and Wes Moore from Maryland. He remarked on their effective governance from a centrist-left perspective, stating, “They’re doing incredible things. They’re running their states incredibly well, and I think they are all leaders that we’d be very proud to have serve as president of the United States.”

Despite offering praise to others, Catsimatidis pressed him on whether he might consider launching his own campaign. Hunter chuckled and suggested, “If I get your endorsement, I may have to,” signalling that while he is not officially declaring his candidacy, he remains open to the idea.

Issues central to Hunter’s vision include healthcare access, economic disparity, and the essential need for adherence to the rule of law.
