Abi, one of Mica’s sisters, publicly stated, “It’s destroying families. It’s destroying individuals, and it needs to stop.”

They have established WayMakers, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to supporting others affected by similar issues. Barrientos, another sibling, commented on their mission to “pay it forward,” reflecting Mica’s spirit of positivity even in the face of hardship.
