Known for her role as cheerleader Claire Bennet in the popular NBC series “Heroes,” which aired from 2006 to 2010, Panettiere’s impact on the show and her colleagues is being fondly remembered by those who worked closely with her.

Tim Kring, the creator of “Heroes,” recently shared an essay in which he extolled the virtues of Panettiere, describing her as a beacon of professionalism and joy. He reflected on their work together, noting that she was a true inspiration on set. “She was a delight to work with, professional, joyful and willing to go out on a limb and experiment with a scene,” he wrote, highlighting her energetic presence.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office indicated that she was found unresponsive in the residence where she had been temporarily staying in South Carolina. No signs of trauma were reported, although dispatch audio suggested there were concerns related to an overdose and cardiac arrest at the time of her passing.

Kring concluded his tribute expressing a deep appreciation for her as both a gifted actress and a genuinely kind individual. “As a showrunner, I have come to appreciate how rare it is to cross paths with a talent like Hayden’s. But more importantly, I will remember her as a kind and gentle person who was always a joy and an inspiration to work with,” he stated.
