A Florida family is mourning the tragic loss of 16-year-old Roylynn Scott, who fell to her death from an abandoned condominium building in Sebastian on August 8. The incident occurred just two days before Scott was due to start a new academic year at Vero Beach High School.

Scott was discovered critically injured after falling approximately 29 feet from the roof of the River Preserve condominium complex, located near the Indian River Lagoon.
