Items up for auction range from her director’s chair and clapperboards from episodes in which she fought to take the helm, to production scripts and various props that belonged to her iconic character.
Reflecting on her decision to part with these treasured items, Gray described the experience as “bittersweet.” She spoke about her affection for Darren Julien and Martin Nolan from the auction house, revealing that while she was pleased to contribute, she felt a level of hesitation. “I love the boys, and they invited me to contribute, so I was happy to. At the same time, I was kind of reluctant,” Gray confessed during an interview.
Although Gray is ready to share some of her items with fans, she emphasised that many pieces remain close to her heart. Particularly sentimental are the memories associated with her late co-star, Larry Hagman, who played her on-screen husband, J.R. Ewing. “Everything that Larry gave me, I’ll keep forever,” she affirmed, noting the small things he gifted her over the years.

Additionally, she remembers receiving an old Rolex watch from him, which she treasures as a meaningful keepsake. “I think it was maybe my birthday. I’m not quite sure when he gave it to me, but I have that. That’s a keeper,” she added.
