In her heartfelt tribute, Ginnetti expressed her deep sorrow, stating, “Jimmy passed away in his sleep last night. He so loved making music with his Nashville family.” She added, “I don’t have any words right now,” as she grapples with the loss of her partner.

Pack recalled a poignant event that had been intended to benefit Ginnetti, which unexpectedly became a farewell for Nichols. “Last night he played at a church service in Franklin, TN, then went home and passed in his sleep. His final performance beautifully reflected his faith.” His emotional message concluded with condolences to Ginnetti and the extended family and friends of Nichols.

Throughout his illustrious career, Nichols found success across various musical genres, including country, pop, and gospel. He toured the nation for 24 years as part of the Nichols Brothers, a musical ensemble with his siblings, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to his craft.
