The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Elysia Kinsella. Police responded to a call concerning a deceased person at the Lookout Valley hotel, located on Patten Chapel Road. Upon their arrival around 4:30 p.m., officers found Kinsella’s body in the parking area of the hotel.
According to a police affidavit, Tyler was captured on surveillance footage arriving at the hotel just before the discovery was made. The video reportedly shows him parking a Ford Crown Victoria and heading towards the back steps of the hotel. A short time later, he was seen returning while carrying what appeared to be a wrapped body.

Witness accounts suggest that after struggling for a while to place Kinsella’s body in the trunk of his vehicle, Taylor laid her down on the ground and got back inside his car. The affidavit details a shocking moment in which Taylor then reversed his vehicle and ran over the lifeless body, dragging it several feet and leaving her partially exposed on the pavement.
After the incident, Taylor attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended later that day. Law enforcement officials stated that camera footage captured him pouring what looked like cleaning solution over his car’s rear bumper and wiping off what seemed to be blood or bodily fluids.
Following his arrest, Taylor reportedly confessed to having taken Kinsella from her hotel room to the parking area. He also mentioned a disturbing detail whereby he “remembered feeling the bumps when he ran over her body.”
As the investigation unfolds, the precise cause of Kinsella’s death remains unclear, and authorities continue to seek answers. Her disappearance had been reported to the police just one week prior to the discovery of her body.
Taylor now faces serious legal consequences with his arraignment set for August 11. In the meantime, the police are urging anyone who may possess information related to Kinsella’s death to come forward and assist with the investigation.
