Rizo Velovic, commonly referred to as RizGod, has established himself as a prominent figure in the world of reality television, having finished fourth in two back-to-back seasons of “Survivor.” His experiences on the show, which aired in 2025 and 2026, have not only made him a fan favourite but also provided him with an array of opportunities in the entertainment industry. In a recent interview, the 26-year-old shared his aspirations for future reality competition shows he hopes to conquer alongside his girlfriend, Elizabeth Doqaj, affectionately known to fans as LizGod.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Newport Beach TV Fest in California, Rizo expressed his enthusiasm for potential new ventures in reality television. “I love social strategy games. ‘Survivor’ kind of has my loyalty and my heart, but I would love to do ‘The Amazing Race’ with my girlfriend,” he shared. Rizo also mentioned interest in competing on “The Traitors,” stating, “I think I’d be really good at that.” He further discussed the possibility of participating in “Big Brother,” though he admitted that the show’s lengthy duration might deter him. “Ninety days is a little too much for the RizGod,” he quipped, reflecting on the challenges faced in previous reality settings.

Rizo’s journey in the world of reality TV has been greatly supported by Elizabeth, who he passionately describes as his “true ride or die.” This sentiment was highlighted in a heartfelt Instagram tribute he posted in May, where he praised her unwavering encouragement throughout his reality TV journey. “Behind the RizGod is a very strong woman who goes by LizGod! The last two years have been a rollercoaster, but you have been a part of every step of the way,” he wrote, acknowledging her support during both seasons of “Survivor.”

In his emotional tribute, he continued, “You are so smart, witty, fierce and passionate. Sometimes I wonder why you weren’t cast instead! I may not have brought home the three million, but I brought us 26 straight weeks of me living my dream.” Rizo’s loving words reflect the strong bond the couple shares, as they continue to mutually support each other’s endeavours and aspirations.
Upon returning home after his experiences in Fiji, Rizo admitted that adjusting back to normal life would pose its own set of challenges. However, he expressed clarity about what he truly enjoyed most: the social strategy aspect of “Survivor.” “Do I like sleeping outside? No. Do I like mosquitoes? No. I don’t even like getting burned because I’m pale as anything,” he confessed. Despite these discomforts, he made it clear that the thrill of strategic gameplay was what truly drew him to the show.
Reflecting on how “Survivor” has impacted his life, Rizo remarked, “I’m still the youthful, normal Rizo and RizGod to my friends back home, but I think my nickname and mantra have kind of carried dividends to the people.” He shared the joy he feels when hearing crowds chant his name, indicating the warmth and community support he has garnered through the show. “It’s given me opportunities that my life didn’t have before,” he stated, highlighting the transformative power of his reality television journey.
Rizo also mentioned the lasting friendships he formed during his time on “Survivor.” He expressed particular closeness with Savannah Louie, the winner of season 49, and Sophie Balerdi. From season 50, he noted his strong connections with contestants like Cirie, Dee, Aubry, and many others. “There’s too many to count, but I’ve luckily made a big family because of ‘Survivor’,” he enthused, reflecting on the camaraderie fostered through their shared experiences in the game.
As he looks forward to new opportunities, Rizo Velovic stands ready to further his reality TV career and explore new challenges with LizGod by his side. With his ambition and support system, it seems likely that viewers will continue to see more of the RizGod and LizGod duo in the future, making their mark in the realm of reality competition shows.
