Keech, 26, who rose to fame through her social media presence, has revealed some early signs of her pregnancy, which included fatigue and a strong desire for specific foods. Speaking about her initial suspicions, Keech noted, “I had an inkling that I was pregnant because my temperature dipped below baseline for one day during my luteal phase, around 6 DPO [days past ovulation], which can happen around the time of implantation.” She further described waking up at night feeling intensely thirsty and consuming large amounts of water.
Michael Yerger, 27, is known for his stint on the reality television show Survivor: Ghost Island, where he secured 9th place. His wife recounted her experience of taking a pregnancy test, stating, “At 10 DPO, I took the test, and the line was so faint — hardly there. I didn’t show Michael because he would have thought I was crazy.” However, after taking additional tests and noticing darker lines in subsequent days, Keech excitedly shared the news with her husband. “I ran over to Michael while he was sleeping and woke him up with a little chirp. We were both so excited and grateful,” she reminisced.

As the due date approaches, Keech has expressed her desire for a home birth, while also remaining open to whatever the circumstances may dictate. “I would prefer to do a home birth, but I’m trusting God and am okay with whatever plan He has for us,” she shared. The couple also recently informed their families about the pregnancy, receiving overwhelming excitement and support, especially since this will be the first grandchild for both sides of the family.
Although Keech has not suffered from major bouts of morning sickness, she has faced challenges with fatigue. “Thankfully, I haven’t been bedridden with nausea — just little bits here and there if I don’t eat every couple of hours,” she explained. She highlighted that managing her energy has been crucial, noting, “I definitely get burnt out a lot quicker and have to be more intentional about what I put my energy toward each day.”

In terms of food cravings, Keech’s preferences have leaned towards “crunchy foods.” Initially, she had a craving for oranges and whole milk, but recently she has favoured pickles and grapes to fulfil her craving for chips.
As they eagerly await the arrival of their first child, Keech and Yerger have already begun to plan a cake reveal to discover the gender of their little one. They have also started narrowing down their list of baby names. Keech remarked, “We’ve always wanted to be parents, so I have tons of names saved in my Notes app. I think we’ve finally landed on our top boy and girl names.”
Reflecting on her journey to motherhood, Keech expressed her profound excitement. “I couldn’t be more excited to be a mommy. Ever since I was little, I’ve dreamed of this day. It feels so surreal to think that we’ll be holding our little baby this Christmas!” She also conveyed confidence in Yerger’s parenting potential, stating, “I know Michael will be the best father, and I can’t wait to see him step into that role.”
As the couple prepares for the new chapter in their lives, Keech’s excitement resonates with many of her followers, who have been supportive throughout her journey. With Christmas fast approaching, the anticipation of welcoming their first child is sure to add an extra layer of joy to the festive season.
