Gwen Stefani recently provided followers with an enchanting update on the flourishing garden she maintains alongside husband Blake Shelton at their Oklahoma ranch. In an Instagram post shared on June 23, the 56-year-old singer offered a vibrant glimpse into their green space, exhibiting a wide array of blooms alongside a thriving vegetable patch.

Stefani’s post was accompanied by a video that showcased the couple’s sunflowers, zinnias, and foxgloves, as well as various vegetables. The garden, which also features the couple’s playful dog, Betty, has become a focal point of their life together since they were wed on the property in 2021.

“Back in Oklahoma where our tomatoes are ripe, the zinnias are gigantic and my dahlias are almost ready!!” Stefani enthused in her caption. The video opened with the artist cheerfully wandering through a field of sunflowers. As it progressed, viewers were treated to footage of Shelton, aged 50, standing amidst the joyful colours of their garden.
In the clip, Shelton highlighted the stunning array of orange and pink zinnias, describing the scene as “literally a masterpiece.” He attributed their success to the rich soil situated by the creek, showcasing the couple’s collaborative effort in cultivating their garden.
Stefani’s narrative noted, “This is the first year that he did this side for me.” She showcased the glorious zinnias, remarkably large and colourful, that appeared to exceed the size of her hand. Their garden has indeed been a labour of love, yielding an impressive bounty that reflects their hard work.
The couple’s endeavours did not stop at flowers; the video also featured Shelton installing a mechanical owl in a bid to protect their vegetable garden from hungry creatures. “Is that an owl?” Stefani was heard laughing as Shelton demonstrated what he dubbed “the old hooter” in an amusing exchange.
She then expressed her astonishment at their haul of tomatoes, including large heirloom varieties and striking purple tomatoes. “Blake, look at your tomatoes, oh my gosh!” she exclaimed in excitement, evidently proud of their vegetables’ impressive size and quality.
The latter part of the video captured Stefani and Shelton harvesting the various blooms from their ranch. The picturesque scene depicted them loading an array of flowers, including Queen Anne’s Lace and foxgloves, onto the back of a small truck. Post-harvest, the couple worked together to arrange bouquets throughout their charming home, where a large vase filled with the colourful flowers took centre stage against a backdrop of floral decor and eclectic zebra-print rugs.
Blake Shelton, who grew up in Oklahoma, holds the ranch dear to his heart as a tribute to his origins. Earlier in March, Shelton had shared his gardening aspirations for their land, previewing the new adventures they hoped to embark upon for the spring season.
The couple, who first crossed paths as coaches on the popular talent series “The Voice” in 2014, solidified their love with a wedding in a quaint backyard chapel on their ranch in July 2021. Their return to the property comes on the heels of concluding individual performance residencies in Las Vegas, which clearly allowed them time to rejuvenate and engage with their flourishing garden.
Stefani’s partnership with her band No Doubt wrapped up its residency at the Sphere on June 13, while Shelton’s tenure at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace concluded on May 21. As the couple settles back into their serene Oklahoma lifestyle, they seem to find joy in nurturing their garden and enjoying the fruits of their labour. The display of love not only for each other but also for their shared interests is evident as they cultivate their beautiful rural retreat.
