Cause of Death Revealed for Elderly Siblings Found Dead on Their Couch as Coroner Says They Died 6 Months Apart

Investigators also noted that utility services at their residence had been cut off on December 1, 2022. Typically, disconnections are not permitted during the winter months between November 1 and April 15. A spokesperson for Wisconsin Public Service explained that the account was registered under a business entity as an agricultural/commercial account rather than as a residential one.

The utility company stated that they adhered to all procedures regarding the disconnection of services. They indicated that multiple attempts were made to contact the account holder to discuss options for preventing disconnection. This lack of formal registration as a residential account played a significant role in the utility company’s actions.

While the investigations into the cause of Kenneth’s death continue, officials have ruled out any foul play in this tragic case. The siblings lived a quiet life in their rural home, and their absence was not immediately evident to the community until the concerning circumstances prompted the welfare check.
