Renowned YouTuber Jesse Riedel, popularly known as Jesser, has tied the knot with fellow content creator Christina Trexler in a picturesque wedding held on June 13 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple celebrated their union with 100 guests, many of whom were fellow digital creators, at the luxurious beachfront venue, The Cape.

In an exclusive interview, Riedel, aged 27, and Trexler, 26, shared their desire for a memorable destination wedding that remained accessible to their friends and family. “We wanted our wedding to feel like a true getaway — somewhere unique, but close enough to Los Angeles that it wasn’t a hard trip for most of our guests,” said the couple. Their choice of Cabo San Lucas felt particularly special as it was the location of their first wedding together, making their own ceremony a full-circle moment.
The festivities, meticulously organised by BTS Event Management, exuded a light-hearted and romantic ambience. Following a welcome gathering and a rehearsal dinner at Sunset Monalisa, guests enjoyed a farewell pool party, making for a weekend brimming with celebration. Riedel and Trexler expressed that the execution of their wedding day exceeded their expectations.
The ceremony itself was adorned with a stunning floral arch that framed the breathtaking Sea of Cortez. It was decorated with an abundance of blush and ivory roses, cascading orchids, and delicate baby’s breath, creating a magical backdrop for their vows. The couple exchanged deeply personal handwritten vows, promising to share moments of affection with their pet cat, Luka, while their adorable dachshund, Winston, served as the ring bearer, sporting a miniature tuxedo.
A particularly heartwarming moment occurred as Trexler walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris.” She wore a captivating gown designed by Anne Barge, featuring soft, flowing layers of tulle and silk organza. Trexler describes the gown perfectly capturing the whimsical atmosphere she wished for on her special day.
“I was drawn to it because it felt really soft and magical,” she explained. For Riedel, the importance of Trexler in his life goes beyond superficial admiration. “From the moment I met her, my mind was blown — she’s the most impressive person I know,” he said, highlighting her unwavering support and the strong bond they share.
The couple paid tribute to their love for anime during their wedding, with Riedel making his entrance to the song “Gurenge” from *Demon Slayer*. Additionally, they provided over 200 Pokémon packs for guests to enjoy, introducing a fun element to the traditional festivities. Instead of the customary bouquet toss, a Pokémon Elite Trainer Box was thrown to the men, further amplifying the theme of their relationship.
The reception featured elegant decor in soft pink and white hues. Guests dined on a fully gluten-free menu that featured highlights such as Norwegian salmon salad, while the dessert included a gluten-free vanilla wedding cake with caramel cream and flambéed bananas, alongside churros, Riedel’s favourite sweet treat. The cake was ceremoniously cut to the tune of “Emotional” by Flux Pavilion and Matthew Koma, a nostalgic nod to Riedel’s early YouTube days.
As the evening unfolded, the couple’s first dance was accompanied by “Die with a Smile,” performed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, solidifying their shared memories of a magical concert. Trexler reflected on the performance as a significant moment, reinforcing the bond between them.
A surprise celebration occurred when guests applauded the New York Knicks’ victory over the San Antonio Spurs, igniting the dance floor in jubilance. The night culminated in a spectacular fireworks display, providing a stunning end to the weekend.
The couple’s romantic journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic when they matched on Tinder and deepened their bond through virtual connections. Trexler reminisced about their adventures, which included a spontaneous trip to Hawaii that sparked their love. Riedel proposed in March 2025 at a scenic location in Japan, presenting Trexler with a uniquely designed Toi et Moi ring, representing their two intertwined lives.
As they embark on their honeymoon later this summer, visiting destinations such as Amsterdam, Istanbul, Santorini, and Shanghai, Riedel and Trexler are excited about building their future together. They share aspirations of expanding their family, stating, “We want to build a huge dynasty — lots of kids, grandkids, and animals.”
With plans to continue growing their entrepreneurial ventures side by side, the newlyweds look forward to sharing their journey with their dedicated fan base, combining their love for lifestyle content and shared experiences. Their wedding stood as a testament to their relationship, filled with personal touches and cherished memories.
