Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann, stars of the popular reality series “Love Is Blind,” have been sharing their joyous wedding celebrations in Venice, Italy. On June 17, the pair took to Instagram to share a series of photographs from their wedding welcome party, detailing their experiences within the enchanting setting of Venice’s renowned canals. The images depict the couple engaged in various activities, from dancing and exploring the picturesque waterways to strolling through the city’s historic streets. Their son, Heath, is also featured in several photographs, adding a family-centric charm to the occasion.

The visual highlights also showcased some of the culinary delights guests enjoyed during the event, including plates of pasta and lasagna, alongside a bottle of San Pellegrino. Gibelli donned a stunning lace dress complemented by a Spanish-style veil and statement necklace, while Horstmann sported a crisp white T-shirt beneath an off-white jacket, accented by brown trousers. The couple’s coordinated sunglasses and Horstmann’s silver chain completed their stylish ensemble.
The wedding festivities were further enriched by the presence of several familiar faces from the “Love Is Blind” universe. Notable alumni such as Taylor Krause, Colleen Reed, Alexa Lemieux, and Raven Ross were spotted in the company of the couple, celebrating the special occasion. Krause took to Instagram to document her experience in Venice, encouraging her followers to enjoy the final slide of her photo carousel, promising a delightful surprise.
In the lead-up to their wedding celebration, Gibelli and Horstmann made headlines when they announced they had obtained their marriage licence in Colorado. They shared this significant milestone with their fans in a joint Instagram post, expressing their excitement at being “one step closer” to tying the knot.
While the couple officially picked up their marriage licence, Gibelli clarified that they chose to leave it unsigned. This decision was made to preserve the integrity of their wedding experience and allow for a signing ceremony during the celebration. In a heartfelt Instagram Story, she explained, “We honestly had no idea what we were doing, if we were getting married today or not… I’m very happy about this!”
The couple, both 33 and 37 years old respectively, have been transparent about their wedding plans, which they are financing independently. During a podcast appearance earlier this year, Gibelli revealed the extensive research she undertook to find the perfect venue in Europe. She expressed her satisfaction with her choices, noting, “I found the most beautiful, gorgeous venue… getting just like this banger of a wedding for probably a little less than half of what you would get in the States.”
Gibelli has also discussed her desire for a longer engagement, particularly following her notable past on “Love Is Blind.” The first season was notable for her emotional moment at the altar when her previous fiancé, Damian Powers, declined to marry her. Reflecting on this experience, Gibelli mentioned, “I just wanted it to be very different from that whole experience.”
As the celebratory events continue in Italy, Gibelli expressed her eagerness to officially begin her life as Horstmann’s wife. “It’s been fantastic and great, but I am ready to call him my husband,” she stated in an interview, clearly looking forward to their future together.
Gibelli and Horstmann got engaged in Madrid on October 30, 2024, and welcomed their son, Heath Orion Horstmann, just a few months earlier, on March 29 of the same year. With their wedding festivities still ongoing, fans remain excited to see how the couple’s journey continues to unfold.
