Perrie Edwards, the former Little Mix member, has tied the knot with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a picturesque ceremony held at Igreja Matriz de Estoi church in Portugal on June 13. The couple, who welcomed their second child together just months prior, celebrated their nuptials in the company of close friends and family.

In an interview with British Vogue, details emerged about Edwards’ wedding attire, which featured three distinct outfit changes throughout the day. For her ceremonial walk down the aisle, the 32-year-old singer opted for a classic Dana Harel lace gown, accentuated by a bolero with sleeves and a matching veil. Describing her choice, Edwards noted that she had always envisioned a timeless lace dress for her big day.
The first outfit was a big hit, but it was just the beginning. For the reception, Edwards transitioned into a dazzling Galia Lahav gown adorned with crystals. This second look featured a sweetheart neckline and a daring waist-high slit, perfectly complemented by elegant Jimmy Choo heels. The singer was clearly keen to make a statement with each of her looks.

Emphasising the importance of comfort and freedom to enjoy the festivities, Edwards changed into a playful custom Annie’s Ibiza minidress for the evening. “I wanted to change for the evening so I could dance and be free,” she remarked. With its corset design and a fun flair, the outfit had her feeling both stylish and unrestrained as the celebrations continued.
However, the day was not without its challenges. Edwards shared that she experienced a considerable scare when a diamond necklace, gifted to her by Oxlade-Chamberlain following the birth of their son Axel, went missing just prior to the ceremony. “I cried all day, we looked everywhere — we even checked the hoover — but it was gone. I was convinced someone had stolen it,” she revealed, recounting the frantic search for the precious piece of jewellery.

Fortunately, relief came from an unexpected source. Aaron Carlo, Edwards’ hairstylist and friend, was integral in easing her concerns. As he rummaged through her hair extensions, he produced the missing necklace, declaring it a combination of her “something old, something new, [and] everything in one.” This moment brought a wave of happiness and assurance to Edwards, setting a positive tone for the day’s events.
The union was attended by an intimate gathering of 140 close friends and family members, including her fellow Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The trio took the opportunity to indulge in some nostalgic choreography, performing an En Vogue classic—a delightful nod to their early days on The X Factor UK.
Since starting their relationship in 2016, Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain have journeyed through significant milestones together. They announced their engagement in June 2022, and with the arrival of their daughter, Alanis Valentine, in January this year, the wedding marked another joyous chapter in their lives.
Edwards, who was previously engaged to One Direction star Zayn Malik, has since found happiness with Oxlade-Chamberlain. Their love story continues to captivate fans, illustrating a blend of personal achievements and cherished family moments. As they embark on this new journey as a married couple, supporters are eager to see what the future holds for this devoted pair.
