The Good Morning America chief meteorologist responded to a recent social media comment that read, “You’re not aging well.” Zee, 44, fired back with grace, stating, “What a privilege to be aging in any manner — thanks for your opinion though.” She shared a snapshot of the interaction in a post on Threads and expressed her gratitude for being alive, regardless of how others view her aging process. Zee concluded her post with a resolute statement, “No matter how you perceive my aging, I’m proud of it.” Followers and fans rallied behind Zee for her dignified response. You had an excellent response though!” another online user acknowledged, highlighting the empathy Zee displayed in her reply. In July 2021, the meteorologist shared a video showcasing her outfit transformation from casual wear to a more formal attire before appearing on ABC News. A viewer criticised Hollywood’s pressure on women to conform to a certain body type, to which Zee responded thoughtfully by clarifying her body size has remained consistent for nearly two decades. Zee also recalled a different occasion where an individual suggested she was only good for reading scripts on television, to which she promptly corrected the misconception by asserting her role as a scientist who speaks spontaneously about science, without the reliance on scripts.
