At a recent event, the 54-year-old shared the joy of participating in this Disney experience. Brown attended the MPTF’s NextGen Summer Party in Los Angeles, where she spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about her role in the theme park attraction. Her excitement was palpable as she reflected on her lifelong dream of being involved with The Muppets. “I am the hugest Muppet fan on the planet,” stated Brown. “To be asked to be a part of the queue at the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney World — I don’t even know where I pinched myself for that.”

The actress described her filming experience, highlighting how she relished the opportunity to collaborate with the talented puppeteers behind the Muppets. She expressed admiration for their skills, which often go unnoticed by the public. “The puppeteers are some of the most talented people you will ever encounter,” she remarked. “You never see them; you only see the beautiful Muppets. I love getting to spend time with the puppeteers.”
Brown’s journey began when she received a phone call in January regarding the project. After filming the segments, she kept her involvement under wraps for several months until the announcement was made. The thrill continued as she had the chance to experience the ride firsthand, describing it as an exhilarating experience that includes twists, turns, and an initial blast-off. “It’s a wild ride,” she explained, adding that it is filled with excitement right from the start.
In the pre-show video, Brown is seen alongside fellow entertainers, including John Stamos and Darren Criss, as well as various Muppet characters. Reflecting on this collaboration, Stamos expressed his disbelief at the opportunity. “If you had told me when I was a kid that I’d be part of a ride with The Muppets and Darren and Yvette, my two buddies, I just wouldn’t believe it,” he stated. His enthusiasm mirrored that of many fans who grew up with these iconic characters.
In addition to her Disney involvement, Brown and her husband, Anthony Davis, have been active supporters of their friends in the entertainment industry. Recently, the couple attended the premiere of the film Normal, celebrating the stars Bob Odenkirk and Henry Winkler. Brown warmly recalled her friendship with Winkler, noting their connection from the show Merry Christmas, Drake and Josh, and how it has blossomed over the years.
Davis, who has admired Winkler since his childhood, was thrilled to finally meet his long-time hero. “I want to meet Henry Winkler. He was there for me in my childhood,” he said as they mingled at the premiere. The couple’s shared interests extend beyond their professional lives, as they support each other in their various projects and engagements.
Brown and Davis’s relationship has evolved since they met in their twenties. After rekindling their friendship in 2021, they began dating and announced their engagement in 2023. The couple tied the knot in Los Angeles the following year. “It’s been really great. We’ve realised we don’t get sick of each other,” Brown shared, describing their time together as akin to being with her best friend. It is evident that their union has been filled with joy and mutual support.
As Brown continues to embrace opportunities in her career, her deep connection to The Muppets serves as a reminder of the childhood dreams that drive her passion. Whether on a ride at Disney or celebrating friends in Hollywood, Yvette Nicole Brown remains an inspiring figure, embodying enthusiasm and warmth that resonates with fans and friends alike.
