Phoebe Bridgers is set to embark on her first tour in three years, aptly named The Lost Tour, which will commence on September 15 in Indianapolis. The singer-songwriter, known for her emotive style and introspective lyrics, made the announcement during a surprise show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 4.

Bridgers, who recently released her second studio album Punisher in 2020, has gained widespread acclaim for her work. The upcoming tour marks her first since wrapping up The Reunion Tour earlier this year. To ensure a focused experience for attendees, The Lost Tour will implement a strictly phone-free environment. Upon arrival at each venue, guests will have their mobile phones, smart watches, and similar devices secured in Yondr pouches, which they will retain throughout the performance. The tour’s guidelines make it clear that any attendee using a non-permitted device will be escorted from the venue.

In addition to the unique concert experience, Bridgers has committed to giving back. For the North American leg of The Lost Tour, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the largest anti-sexual violence organisation in the United States, which also operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline.

The tour’s itinerary is extensive, covering major cities such as Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, and Los Angeles. Notably, Bridgers will also be making stops in Toronto and Vancouver before taking her performances to the UK, Ireland, and Europe in November. North American audiences can look forward to Alex G providing support during the shows, while Isaac Wood will open for the UK and European dates.
Ticket presales for The Lost Tour commenced following the announcement and will run through June 11, with an Official Artist Presale taking place on June 9 and 10. Fans wishing to purchase tickets were encouraged to register for a chance at access, though only one registration is permitted per person. For those unable to register in time, they will receive a unique code to unlock ticket purchases on the second day of the presale.
Bridgers’s announcement of the tour was not only a celebration of her music but also an opportunity to support meaningful causes. The New York City concert where the news broke was a benefit show, featuring tickets priced as low as $1, with proceeds directed to the Community Justice Exchange’s Immigration Bond Freedom Fund, aimed at helping release individuals from immigration detention.
Beyond the tour announcement, recent shows included a series of pop-up acoustic performances in cities such as Roswell, Toledo, Mobile, and Fargo, where Bridgers showcased her eclectic style. The intimate Madison Square Garden concert transformed the venue into a whimsical retro environment, complete with vintage furnishings and decor. During the performance, Bridgers delivered a mix of fan-favourite songs, including “Motion Sickness,” “Kyoto,” and “I Know the End,” and introduced eight new tracks, one of which was performed live for the first time.
Bridgers, a four-time Grammy award nominee, continues to capture the attention of music lovers with her moving storytelling and innovative style. Her last studio album, Punisher, has garnered significant acclaim, with “Kyoto” receiving nominations at the 2021 Grammy Awards. In 2023, she also participated in the project Boygenius alongside Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, releasing their debut album titled The Record.
As The Lost Tour approaches, anticipation grows among fans eager to reconnect with Bridgers’ music in a uniquely immersive environment. This venture promises not only to deliver an exceptional audio experience but also to foster connections and raise awareness for significant causes tied to the artistic community.
