A primary school teacher from South Carolina has been arrested following a police investigation into the disappearance of a minor. Yshay Fuller, aged 33, was taken into custody on charges including contributing to the delinquency of a minor, obstructing justice, and neglect by a legal guardian.

Authorities from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department reported that their investigation began on May 10, when they received a call regarding a runaway child who was allegedly located at Fuller’s residence. Despite her assertions, law enforcement claims that Fuller provided deceptive information regarding the child’s whereabouts during their inquiry.
According to the department’s statements, deputies arrived at her home only to find that the child was not present. However, it was reported that the missing minor returned home later that evening after being unaccounted for since May 8. Following the child’s return, further inquiries led to Filler’s arrest on May 19.
Fuller was subsequently processed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, where she was held on a bond of £20,000. On the day following her arrest, she was released from custody under specific conditions imposed by the court. Notably, Fuller is prohibited from making contact with the alleged victim and must maintain a distance of at least 1,000 yards.
The teacher is linked to Caughman Road Elementary School, where she has been listed as a staff member. However, authorities have clarified that her legal troubles are not connected to her professional role at the school.
Fuller’s initial court appearance is scheduled for July 31. At this stage, it remains uncertain whether she has obtained legal representation, and attempts to reach her for comment have yet to elicit a response.
