Nick Jonas is set to light up the big screen once again with his upcoming musical comedy, ‘Power Ballad,’ which is slated for release on 29 May. At a special screening in New York, the singer and actor spoke about how his real-life experiences as a former boy band member have influenced his portrayal of his character, Danny Wilson.
In ‘Power Ballad,’ Jonas stars alongside Paul Rudd, who plays Rick, a wedding singer struggling to revive his dwindling career. Danny, portrayed by Jonas, is a former boy band member who unexpectedly becomes involved in Rick’s quest for recognition when he transforms one of Rick’s songs into a chart-topping hit.
