To honour this special occasion, Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, showcased an exclusive product that resonates deeply with their wedding day. The brand spotlighted its Signature Candle No. 519, created as a tribute to their royal wedding held on the same date in 2018. This aromatic candle is infused with scents of Moroccan mint, cardamom, and tea leaves, evoking warm memories associated with their nuptials.

A post shared on As Ever’s Instagram featured an array of nostalgic images, including an aerial shot of the couple in a carriage post-ceremony, a scene etched in the memory of royal watchers. Meghan’s brand described the candle as embodying a “modern and elegant” feel, encapsulating the essence of their wedding day and the joy it brought to their lives. The candle’s name, anchored in the 19 May date, cleverly plays on the anniversary through the digits “519.”
Launched as part of As Ever’s inaugural holiday collection in October 2025, the candle retails for approximately $64. Aside from being a celebration of their marriage, it is one of several in the As Ever line, which also pays homage to Meghan’s birthday and those of her children. Since its inception, As Ever has expanded from a range of food products to include other lifestyle items such as candles, bookmarks, and collaboration projects.
In a previous conversation with PEOPLE, Meghan emphasised her entrepreneurial spirit, distinguishing herself from the influencer label often attributed to lifestyle brands. “I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder,” she remarked, demonstrating her commitment to carving out her identity in the business world.
Meghan shared glimpses of the anniversary festivities via her Instagram Stories, where she happily revealed the affectionate moments spent with her family. The video included a lovely serenade from Harry and the children singing “Happy anniversary Mama and Papa,” as Harry presented a cake reminiscent of the one served during their royal wedding reception.
Additionally, he gifted Meghan a bronze sculpture of two penguins, a symbol connected to their engagement party where they donned matching penguin costumes. The gift also holds significance as the traditional eight-year anniversary gift is bronze, weaving a touch of tradition into their modern family celebrations.
Reflecting on their wedding day, Meghan shared two sets of previously unseen photographs, reminiscing about the fairytale that unfolded at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle eight years ago. The royal couple’s wedding, attended by prominent figures including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and other senior royals, was a highly publicised event that garnered immense international attention.
Despite stepping back from their official royal duties in the UK in 2020, Harry and Meghan continue to be prominent figures, and their anniversary celebrations serve as a reminder of their journey as a couple. The still-lingering affection for their wedding day is evident in Meghan’s thoughtful gestures and the shared moments of joy with their children, illustrating the life they have built together since those early days of their romance.
As the couple forges ahead, their commitment to celebrating love and family remains central to their narrative, serving not just as a touchstone for their past but a foundation for their ongoing journey.
