Miranda Kerr, the Australian model and businesswoman, has recently revealed that her children are eager to follow in her footsteps, especially with her thriving skincare line, Kora Organics. The mother of four discussed her family’s dynamic, particularly the competition between her two middle sons over who might inherit the role of CEO in her company.

Kerr, 43, founded Kora Organics in 2009 and has seen its profile rise significantly since then, notably forming a partnership with Sephora in 2017. While attending the EWG’s 16th Annual Earth Day Dinner in Los Angeles, the model quipped that her sons Hart, aged seven, and Myles, aged six, are already “fighting” over the prospect of taking charge of the business one day.
However, Kerr noted that her eldest son Flynn, who is fifteen, has a different passion. “My 15-year-old is an artist, so he’s not really that interested in becoming the CEO of Kora,” she shared. Despite his lack of interest in leadership, Flynn still engages with Kora’s products, both using them personally and sharing them with his friends.
Kerr co-parents Flynn with her former husband, actor Orlando Bloom. With her current spouse, Evan Spiegel, she has three younger sons: Hart, Myles, and their two-year-old, Pierre. In a previous interview with PEOPLE, Kerr highlighted the special bond she shares with Flynn, particularly through their shared practice of meditation. “He finds it really grounding and helpful,” she explained, indicating that Flynn’s awareness of her wellness routines has sparked his own interest.
The model reflected on how children’s actions reflect parental behaviour, emphasising that children often learn more from observing than from direct instruction. “When Flynn sees me daily doing my meditation, he’s like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting. I’d like to try that,’” she stated, mentioning how this led to several of Flynn’s friends starting to meditate too.
During the Earth Day panel discussion, Kerr also shed light on her brand’s mission and the hurdles she has encountered. She pointed out that there is often a misconception surrounding the effectiveness of organic products. “When you’re pregnant, the doctor says you should be really aware of what you’re putting on your skin,” Kerr noted. “But we shouldn’t have to wait until we’re pregnant to be mindful of that. We should just be mindful and educated.”
Kerr has dedicated two decades to proving that consumers do not have to compromise their health in pursuit of effective skincare. She underscored the benefits of organic ingredients, mentioning, “There are up to 60% more antioxidants in a certified organic ingredient, so from day one, Kora Organics has been certified organic.” This approach, she insists, not only supports better health outcomes but also exemplifies a commitment to sustainability and ethical practises within the beauty industry.
The former Victoria’s Secret angel continues to advocate for making health-conscious choices accessible to everyone, showing a strong desire to lead by example not only through her business but also as a mother. As her sons vye for leadership in the family business, it remains to be seen how these familial dynamics will evolve as they grow older.
Miranda Kerr’s journey from model to successful entrepreneur illustrates her dedication to promoting a more organic and health-conscious lifestyle. With competitive yet supportive aspirations brewing in her household, the future of Kora Organics appears to be in not just strong hands, but also passionate ones.
