Ashley Graham is gracing the cover of the latest issue of Marie Claire, focusing on motherhood, and this time, she’s joined by her three sons. This marks the first instance where the model, who is 38, features her children in a photo shoot. Graham shares her sons—Isaac, age six, and twins Malachi and Roman, aged four—with her husband Justin Ervin.

The photoshoot, conducted by Luka Booth for Marie Claire, showcases the family in a candid and affectionate light. One striking image shows Graham cradling Isaac in her lap, deliberately ensuring that his face is turned away from the camera. In another moment, the twins are lively and animated, captured running playfully around a wooden bench.

Despite these fleeting moments of exposure, Graham emphasised her commitment to maintaining her family’s privacy. She expressed her concerns about the current culture of oversharing, stating, “There are just some things to me that are so sacred. We live in such an oversharing world… I feel like I’ve shared a lot of my life with so many people, [and] there are three little things that I don’t want to share, and they are called Isaac, Roman, and Malachi.”
Graham’s ability to shield her sons from the prying eyes of the Internet is proving to be a challenging task. Isaac’s budding aspirations, which include desires to perform on Broadway or to become a chef at a “menuless restaurant,” complicate matters. Graham revealed that her eldest son is already taking on the role of a performer at home, announcing, “He’s the one that’s like on the fireplace mantle with the microphone, like giving us the whole performance. His favourite is anything from Aladdin.”
Nevertheless, Graham is adamant that she has no intention of placing her children on the audition circuit just yet. “Right now, I want my kids to just be kids. I want them to play and have fun,” she affirmed. This philosophy extends to her desire to keep their childhood experiences as normal as possible, away from the pressures of the entertainment industry.
In a previous conversation with PEOPLE, Graham shared insights into her Broadway debut in the musical *Chicago*, scheduled for April 2025. She mentioned that her children were not anticipated to attend her performances, even though Isaac appears to grasp the significance of her role. She recounted that during a recent FaceTime call, he referred to her character, Roxie Hart, marveling, “Oh, you busy being Roxie?” revealing that he is indeed aware of his mother’s theatrical pursuits.
Graham explained further that when she first introduced her son to her Broadway plans, Isaac drew a comparison to their previous experience watching the musical *MJ*. “He goes, ‘Oh, like Michael Jackson, like when you took me to see Michael Jackson,’” she remembered, laughing at the amusing association. “And I was like, ‘Exactly.’ So I’m getting compared to Michael Jackson, and I’m not mad at it.”
As she navigates the delicate balance between her flourishing career and motherhood, Graham remains committed to fostering a nurturing environment for her children. By prioritising their childhood experiences and keeping their lives relatively private, she hopes to lay a strong foundation while also advancing her own career.
In a world where celebrity children often become subjects of public intrigue, Graham stands firm in her conviction. Her thoughtful approach to parenting underscores the importance of childhood and ensures that her sons can enjoy their formative years without unnecessary scrutiny.
