The couple first crossed paths in September 2024 while riding the 88 First Stagecoach bus, which runs from the Northampton bus station to the racing circuit at Silverstone. Enyi recalled the initial moment he spotted Igwe, noting the apprehension he felt before making the first move. “There was a kind of fear, or uncertainty—was she married or not?—so I wasn’t brave enough to approach her,” he described.
Igwe, on the other hand, was also aware of Enyi’s lingering gaze.
