Agawam, Massachusetts – Excitement is building at Six Flags New England as the amusement park prepares to unveil its latest attraction, the Quantum Accelerator, which is set to open to the public on Friday, April 17. This new roller coaster marks a significant addition to the park, being the first dual-launch straddle coaster in the New England region.
The Quantum Accelerator promises to offer thrill-seekers an exhilarating experience. Unlike traditional roller coasters that begin with a gradual ascent, this innovative ride is designed to launch riders from a standstill to an impressive 30 miles per hour in just a matter of seconds. It even features a second burst of speed that propels riders to 45 miles per hour halfway through the journey.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the Quantum Accelerator is its steampunk theme, complete with hover bike-style seating.
