Lisa Hochstein, a prominent figure in reality television through her role on *The Real Housewives of Miami*, is currently embroiled in serious legal troubles alongside her former partner, Jody Glidden. The two face felony charges after allegedly placing an illicit recording device in the car of Hochstein’s estranged husband, Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein, during their tumultuous divorce proceedings.
According to details emerging from a March 17 arrest warrant obtained by *PEOPLE*, the alleged incident occurred in March 2023. It is claimed that Lenny loaned his luxury Mercedes Benz GLS 600 Maybach to Lisa after she expressed interest in purchasing a similar vehicle. Following her return of the car two days later, Lenny reportedly discovered a suspicious device hidden in the driver’s seat. This device was identified as a concealed audio recorder and was found covered in tape, leading Lenny to suspect it had been intentionally placed there to avoid detection.
Legal documents state that Lenny, upon realising the presence of the recording device, enlisted the help of legal experts. They were able to retrieve multiple recordings from the device, one of which allegedly captured a conversation between Lisa Hochstein and Glidden discussing the placement of the hidden recorder. Notably, Lisa can be heard using the phrase “Done,” as the device was reportedly secured into position.
The recordings also captured various conversations involving Lenny, touching on personal matters such as his interactions with their children, his plastic surgery practice, and other private discussions. Legal filings show that the initial case was submitted by the Miami-Dade State Attorney on March 19, listing both Lisa and Glidden as co-defendants.
