“We wanted something quiet and personal where we could really be present with each other and the moment,” Harris shared with PEOPLE. Harris explained that they envisioned a wedding that was “simple, elegant, and ocean-inspired,” set against the backdrop of a turquoise lagoon. The couple’s desire for a low-key celebration allowed them to concentrate on meaningful details, instead of managing the logistics of a large event. “We didn’t want a huge production,” she noted.
The couple’s vows, exchanged in a heartfelt ceremony officiated by Stephen Doherty, were handwritten, underscoring the genuine nature of their commitment.
