Khloé Kardashian is gearing up for the launch of her latest product line, Khloud Protein Chips, which will hit Target shelves on April 8. Designed for health-conscious snackers, these chips come in three enticing flavours: Nacho, Sweet Heat, and Buffalo. The venture follows the successful launch of Khloud Protein Popcorn, which has garnered overwhelming positive feedback since its introduction.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Kardashian expressed her excitement about the growth of the Khloud brand, stating, “It just took off way faster than I anticipated.” She elaborated on her enthusiasm for chips, acknowledging her penchant for snacking. “I’m someone, if I open a bag, it doesn’t stop. I just eat the whole bag or they’re gone within two or three days,” she said, highlighting the appeal of convenient yet satisfying snacks.

The new Khloud Protein Chips are gluten-free, kosher, and made without seed oil, each serving featuring an impressive seven grams of protein. Kardashian emphasised her commitment to using real, recognisable ingredients that ultimately deliver on taste. “We’re not sacrificing taste. I really don’t believe in that,” she asserted, insisting that the products maintain both flavour and nutritional value. “This is a clean source of protein that keeps the textures crunchy and avoids preservatives.”
Kardashian’s health journey has informed her approach to snacks and nutrition. Reflecting on her past experiences, she noted, “I started my weight loss journey many years ago… but I never understood the food element as well.” She acknowledged the challenges of maintaining a balanced diet, especially being a non-meat eater. The Khloud range, she believes, offers enjoyable alternatives to the traditional protein sources she previously relied upon.
In a fun twist, Kardashian utilised a family-focused approach to finalise the flavours of the new chips. Her children, True, aged 7, and Tatum, aged 3, along with her nieces and nephews, served as valuable taste testers. She shares, “My favourite’s the Sweet Heat, True’s is the Nacho, and Tatum’s is the Buffalo. They are the most honest individuals and will tell you if something ‘sucks.’”
For Kardashian, the balance between promoting healthy eating and allowing kids to enjoy treats is essential. “I want my kids to eat healthy, but I feel like everything in moderation—you still have to let a kid be a kid,” she remarked, voicing concerns about instilling negative food associations in her children.
True, in particular, has taken a liking to Khloud, and Kardashian finds joy in seeing her daughter’s pride when they spot the product. “My daughter loves Starbucks, and when she sees Khloud in there, she’s beaming,” Kardashian shared. This connection not only brings her pride but also reinforces the family-oriented values behind the brand.
The Khloud Protein Chips will initially be available in Target stores from April 8, followed by an online rollout on KhloudFoods.com on April 21. Kardashian hinted at future flavour additions, suggesting that the brand aims for continual expansion in the months ahead.
With Khloud Protein Chips, Kardashian aims to blend wholesome snacking with indulgent flavours, catering to those looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle without compromising on taste. Her journey from a personal interest in fitness to launching a successful food brand illustrates her commitment to innovation and health in the snack industry.
