A 68-year-old woman from Detroit is recovering after a brutal dog attack that occurred in her garden, leaving her with significant injuries that required extensive medical treatment. Rita Emery was outside attending to her plants when she was set upon by two pit bulls, leading to a harrowing ordeal that has captured the attention of her community.

“It was the most gruesome thing I’ve ever seen,” Sean recounted in an interview. He expressed his horror at witnessing the extent of his mother’s injuries, stating she was left covered in blood, with her clothing torn from her body.
