At 31, Porter has carved out a significant niche for himself on TikTok, amassing an impressive 4.3 million followers who enjoy his humorous take on everyday situations. Dressed in one of his many wigs, Porter is unrecognisable without his theatrical attire. His collection includes over fifty wigs, with styles ranging from a long blonde wig for his festive Mrs. Claus series to a spiky pixie cut that makes regular appearances, as well as a shoulder-length brunette bob reserved for ‘mother’ themed content.
In a candid conversation, Porter revealed that he recently pruned his wig collection, reducing the number from seventy-five to fifty-three. “It was a tough decision to part with some of the wigs, but they were simply too worn out,” he explained. “Now, I have a dedicated costume room in my house that allows me to easily select characters when collaborating with brands like Baileys. For the first time in seven years, it’s all beautifully organised.”

However, it’s essential to forge ahead and learn from these moments.” He emphasised the need to embrace failure and continue striving for improvement, understanding that every performer faces off days.

As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, Porter is looking forward to celebrating the occasion with friends. “I have a bit of a different schedule than most people, which allows me to enjoy a night out on a Tuesday,” he chuckled.
