Set against a backdrop of intense training and high-stakes conflict, this film blends elements of military survival with a gripping alien invasion narrative.

In ‘War Machine’, Ritchson’s character, 81, joins fellow soldiers in an arduous multi-week course designed to prepare them for the demands of becoming U.S. Army Rangers. The newcomers learn that their ultimate test involves a simulated mission where they are tasked with dismantling a downed classified military aircraft and rescuing its pilot, who is currently being held as a prisoner of war.
